Meet those who are offering their services in our community.
KATE BODMANN, Clinical Herbalist RH (AHG)
Land of Milk and Honey Herbs is an Omaha based herbal health business. Much of what we need to improve our health is growing right outside of our doors. We are only a generation or two away from those who understood these gifts of nature. It is my goal to help reintroduce you to this knowledge.
As a clinical herbalist I offer personal consultations to discuss your wellness concerns and use traditional herbal assessment techniques to determine an herbal protocol to help bring you back into balance.
In my heart I run my business as a community herbalist. I try to be there for my clients whenever the need arises. I also encourage and empower my clients with the knowledge that they need to take a more proactive role in their health through a variety of classes that I offer, consultations, and community outreach.
I also offer my Herb of the Month Club where each month I introduce a new herb and provide a newsletter about that herb and the corresponding herbal product on a subscription basis. Information on that group and the club membership can be found on Facebook at Land of Milk and Honey Herb of the Month Club.
If you are ready to look at your health in a new way please go to my website below and schedule a consultation.
A Reiki session offers many a sense of deep relaxation, stress relief and a sense of well-being. A session lasts about an hour. Clients are fully clothed. Reiki energy is applied through a gentle touch to the head, neck, torso, feet, and hands.
Reiki can be helpful:
in times of stress or transitions
when seeking inspiration
as a complement to other health therapies
I found peace and enhanced well-being through Reiki. I began my practitioner studies in Omaha and completed Reiki Master training along with Karuna training in Washington State in 2010.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment.
$45 per single session, $40 ea. with a three-session card.
The Gift Economy is part of a new story about how we interact in our communities. A new awareness is unfolding of the importance of relationship, connection, and trust in all of our interactions, including our economic exchanges.
In the Gift Economy, I joyfully offer my services as a gift. I believe that more people receiving high quality massage therapy is one way to bring about a positive change in our world. I'm privileged to have access to massage therapy training and I've been blessed with excellent skills as a massage therapist.
It brings me joy and fulfillment to share my gifts, especially with those who traditionally haven't felt that massage therapy is accessible to them.
In the same way that I want to contribute to others' well-being so our community can thrive, I trust that others want to help me continue to thrive while operating my business in this model. I believe that there is enough abundance in the world to make our new world possible.
Not all clients will be able to pay a typical amount of money for a session. That is anticipated and totally great. I trust that whatever is given is offered out of generosity within each client's unique situation.
My goal is for clients to feel awesome, in their bodies and in regards to how much they are able to give.
